Winners of NACC Awards 2015 announced
The winners of the National Association of Care Catering (NACC) Awards 2015 have been announced.
The annual awards, which recognise the excellence, dedication and innovation of those within the care catering sector, took place at the East Midlands Conference Centre in Nottingham.
Around 200 people attended the gala dinner and awards ceremony, which formed part of the NACC Training and Development Forum.
The eight awards included the Pam Rhodes Outstanding Service Award, which was presented to this year's forum chair Stuart Long.
Long was the first national chair for the association when it launched in 1988 as the ABSSC. He is the sales director of MKN and an honorary member of the NACC.
The award was created in memory of Pam Rhodes who was described as a committed friend to care catering and the wider care sector.
The final award of the night - the Chairman's Award - went to events company McCullough Moore, which has supported the NACC in all events for the past decade.
The evening also included a presentation to NACC Care Cook of the Year 2015 Oliver Smith, a chef at Wetherby Manor, Hadrian Healthcare Group; and a charity raffle in aid of the Food Chain, which raised £2,283.
