Wise Catering sees 20% rise in corporate hospitality sales
Wise Catering is predicting a prosperous 2013 as steady growth in corporate hospitality bookings continues.
The Southampton based business has seen an overall 20% increase in corporate hospitality sales across its portfolio of events. These include the autumn international rugby matches, the PSP Southampton boat show, the Hennessey Gold Cup at Newbury and the forthcoming Six Nations rugby fixtures in the New Year.
"Over the weekend we served over 2,000 guests at the Hennessey Gold Cup and England New Zealand fixture at Twickenham," commented Wise Catering managing director Chris Treacher.
"Booking for 2013 are looking encouraging and we expect to cater for over 1000 guests at each of the Six Nations Twickenham games."
Wise Catering's fleet of articulated vehicles transported an estimated 30 tonnes of equipment and food from Southampton to Twickenham and Newbury race course including commercial catering apparatus, crockery, glassware, cutlery, tableware and selection of beverages.
Wise Catering and its subsidiary Events Bar Management operate from purpose built premises in Woolston, on the banks of the River Itchen. It also caters for weddings, private and public events.
