Liam Fauchard-Newman is taking up the executive head chef role at Miiro group’s first UK property
Liam Fauchard-Newman has been appointed executive head chef at Miiro group’s Templeton Garden hotel in London’s Earl’s Court, which is opening next month.
The former head chef at the Holborn Dining Room within the Rosewood London will be leading the team at the upcoming hotel’s modern British restaurant, Pippin’s, and neighbourhood café and deli, Pip’s.
Pippin’s will offer 62 covers and a selection of comfort classics, such as chicken and chips and rhubarb and custard, while the 32-cover Pip’s will serve the likes of fresh pastries, bread and coffee.
Fauchard-Newman has almost 20 years’ experience in the industry, having also worked at the now three-Michelin-starred Ledbury in London’s Notting Hill and the Michelin-starred Kitchen W8 in London’s Kensington.
At Templeton Garden, the chef will showcase ingredients sourced from the restaurant’s own garden and roster of independent suppliers with dishes that pay homage to his wide-ranging kitchen experience.
Fauchard-Newman said: “It is an absolute privilege to see a project come to life from start to finish and to have the creative freedom to help develop concepts that mean a lot to me. My inspiration for the menu is simple, I asked myself what I like to eat, and that is what will be featured. It’s playful, it’s fun and it aims to warm the soul.”
The 156-bedroom Templeton Garden is lifestyle hotel brand Miiro’s first UK property.
Miiro also launched Le Grand Hôtel Cayré in Paris, Borneta in Barcelona, and the Mansard in Gstaad in 2024.
