Francisco Macedo swaps Iconic Luxury Hotels for Ocubis

Francisco Macedo, formerly senior vice president of international operations at Iconic Luxury Hotels, has joined Ocubis as chief operating officer.

Macedo was previously overseeing L+R Hotels’ luxury portfolio, Iconic Luxury Hotels, leading on the launch of the Palm House in Palm Beach, Florida, the first phase of the Excelsior Venice refurbishment and the creation of Amu Beach Club.

Prior to that, he was general manager of Cliveden House in Berkshire, where he was awarded Manager of the Year at the 2023 Cateys, and later senior vice president asset management at Iconic Luxury Hotels - International.

A Cornell University alumnus, he also holds executive diplomas in Real Estate and Asset Management and Hospitality Marketing.

Macedo has now joined privately-owned property investment and development company Ocubis, which owns the 6,000-acre Wilderness Reserve in Suffolk and the Pavilion Clubs in London, which offer exclusive workspaces and restaurants for its members.
