Green Procurement appoints Carl Howells as executive chair

Green Procurement has appointed Carl Howells as executive chair and joint shareholder.

Howells was most recently commercial director for hospitality at Foodbuy, part of Compass Group. 

He will join Green Procurement founder Gordon Turner to drive the next phase of growth of the business as a procurement partner for hospitality and healthcare operators.

The pair will deliver four key services to clients: procurement across food and beverage, culinary support, online ordering and sustainability consultancy. 

Turner said: “Carl’s leadership, commercial depth and industry relationships will be central to our growth strategy. Bringing our capabilities together is the natural next step and strengthens our ability to support operators across the UK.”
