Highland Coast Hotels has reported a pre-tax profit for 2025 after increasing its presence along Scotland’s North Coast 500 (NC500) touring route.
The hotel group reported a profit before tax of £1,000 compared to a loss of £614,000 in 2024.
The collection of hotels in the Scottish Highlands also posted a company EBITDA (earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation) profit before one offs and exceptional charges of £942,000 in 2025 compared to £274,000 in 2024.
Turnover had increased from £9.01m in 2024 to £9.94m in 2025. This comes despite the hotel group acknowledging the sector continues to face “significant challenges”, within documents filed with Companies House.
The year had seen the group integrate new assets the Lochardil House Hotel in Inverness and The Haven Inn in Plockton, securing full coverage of the NC500 route.
Looking forward, the group has said its focus will be on adding further room capacity across its six hotels.
