18 students graduate from Edge Hotel School
More than 50 students have now graduated from the Edge Hotel School following a second presentation ceremony at the University of Essex Colchester campus.
A total of 18 students completed the second intake on the two-year BA (Hons) course in hotel management, 15 of whom attended the graduation celebrations.
The graduates, who undertook the practical element of their training at the four-AA-star, 40-bedroom Wivenhoe House hotel adjacent to the Edge Hotel School, are now working in hospitality roles all over the UK.
They include Sasha Glucksmann-Smith, floor supervisor at the Apex Hotel London Wall; Maddy Johnson, restaurant manager, Benedicts, Norwich; and Luke Teeling, assistant executive lounge manager, Marriott hotel, Grosvenor Square, London. Teeling graduated last year.
Andy Boer, principal of the school, said: It was fantastic to hear how well our graduates are already doing. They now join our growing band of alumni as our ambassadors to the hospitality industry."
A new intake of around 50 undergraduates will enrol at the Edge Hotel School in the autumn.
