£4m deal for Ramada
Joint venture company, BV Hotels Loughborough, has acquired the Ramada Loughborough hotel for around £4m. The Georgian-style hotel features 78 en suite bedrooms, the Courtyard restaurant and Summit Conference Centre, which caters for up to 150 delegates. It was acquired from High-Wycombe based Jarvis Hotels. Leicester law firm, Nelsons, acted for the new owners, who plan to spend £300,000 on adding to the facilities, including 12 new bedrooms.
