A centre of excellence sells for more than £2m

Chewton Place training and conference centre in Keynsham, near Bristol has sold for more than £2m to Lorraine Edlestone and Simon Caple. The property, set in eight acres, comprises a Grade two listed Georgian mansion and a modern accommodation block. The centre has 31 en-suite bedrooms; conference facilities, including six lecture rooms and five syndicate rooms; plus two dining areas, with capacity to seat 150 guests. The property also has existing planning permission for an additional block including 16 bedrooms and leisure facilities. The agent was Savills, acting for Petchey Holdings.
