Amazing Retreats rebrands as Clarenco
Amazing Retreats - the expanding portfolio of hotels and exclusive-use properties - has been rebranded under the name Clarenco.
The Clarenco logo, accompanied by a strapline of "amazing retreats in spectacular locations", will be applied across the seven Amazing Retreats properties.
Worth £80m, Clarenco intends to expand its investment in large unique venues across the UK, with the intention of becoming the market leader in the corporate, exclusive use, upscale venue and weddings sectors.
Mike Clare, executive chairman of Clarenco, said: "We want to create a brand that spans across property and luxury estates and that will stand, and be instantly recognised, for buying, restoring and developing iconic and unusual venues. And to do this in a sympathetic way and in keeping with the historic and unique characteristics of those properties."
The Clarenco portfolio includes three properties which are due to open next month - Spitbank Fort in the Solent, Stanbrook Abbey in Worcestershire and Plas Rhianfa on Anglesey - as well as Ackergill Tower in Wick, Carberry Tower near Edinburgh, Kinnettles Castle near Dundee and Bath Lodge Castle.
