Andrew Nicholson is new general manager of Linthwaite House

Andrew Nicholson has become general manager of Linthwaite House in the Lake District.
He has moved from the Devonshire Arms Country House Hotel at Bolton Abbey in Yorkshire, where he was resident manager.
Since 1985 Nicholson has worked at the Dorchester Hotel, Sheraton Skyline, and in more recent years, was head chef at Rudding Park Hotel.
He was also head chef at Linthwaite House from 2001 to 2004 before leaving for the Devonshire Arms.
