Annual Hotel Marketing Awards launched for the 20th year

The Annual Hotel Marketing Awards are celebrating their 20th anniversary with the introduction of three new categories.

Awards for best website, best media and public relations activity, and best partnership marketing campaign will now be given alongside two accolades which have been awarded in previous years for the best use of social media in marketing and to the young marketer of the year.

Linda Moore, chairman of the award organisers, the Hotel Marketing Association (HMA), said: "Marketing has changed beyond all recognition in the past 20 years and we wanted to make sure that the categories that we have chosen reflect where hotel marketing is today.

"Winning a marketing award from the HMA is a great accolade. There are some great campaigns out there and what better than to get some recognition for them. "

Entries for the awards can be made by any UK based independent hotel, hotel group, hospitality organisation or qualifying external hotel marketing agency by visiting www.hotelmarketingassociation.com. The deadline for entries is 15 November.

The winners will be announced at the HMA Christmas lunch at London's Savoy Hotel on 16 December.
