Anvi Kensington hotel in pre-pack administration

The 83-bedroom Anvi Kensington hotel in Harrington Gardens, London, is continuing to operate as normal after going through a pre-pack administration.

The sale of the property - which employs six full-time staff - to a newly formed company, Anvi Kensington Ltd, was completed on the same day that the hotel's former owner, Realco Ltd, went into administration.

Mary Moran, the former secretary of Realco, has been appointed a director of Anvi Kensington Ltd, along with Alexis Thielen and Daniel Dwyer.

The administration was handled by insolvency specialists, David Rubin & Partners.

A pre-pack administration allows the sale of the assets of an insolvent company to a new company, ensuring a seamless continuation of trade.
