Aparthotel the Cannon launches new communal space for guests
The Lounge, which opened last week and seats 25, has a 24-hour reception, a fireplace, sofas, complimentary tea and coffee, a library, free superfast Wi-Fi and a large communal table for guests to work on their laptops.
It offers 77 studios and one-bedroom serviced apartments and is one of a number of purpose-built serviced accommodation developments by SACO that represent the changing face of the fastest growing segment of the hospitality sector.
Stephen Hanton, CEO of SACO, said: "Today's traveller is looking for more than just a night's stay; they want an experience. Using our knowledge and long experience as industry leaders, we have taken a thoughtful, timely and timeless approach to the design of the Cannon to deliver a unique quality proposition for today's travellers that provides a genuine home away from home."
SACO has developed the Cannon with guest feedback and trends in consumer demand at its heart, and will follow its opening with the launch later this year of a new aparthotel brand aimed at specific market segments.
