Apex Hotels launches online meeting room booking system
Four-star hotel group Apex Hotels has launched a booking system that allows customers to book small meeting and event rooms in the same way as they would book bedrooms.
The online booking system provides booking choices for Apex properties in London, Edinburgh and Dundee. Using the website [meetings.apexhotels.co.uk], customers can view live room availability, enter their catering details and meeting requirements, and book and confirm, 24 hours a day.
Apex has claimed to be the first hotel group to offer the service, which has been developed and implemented by hospitality industry company Meetings Maker.
Lucy McNicoll, Apex Hotels group director of sales, said: "The new booking tool ensures we provide our customers and third parties with complete flexibility and control when booking their meeting and events in our venues across the UK."
Matthew Stubbs, chief executive of Meetings Maker, added: "The deployment of our unique cloud-based system by Apex hotels means their customers can now search, book and pay for meetings in just a few minutes."
Based in Edinburgh, Apex Hotels operates five four-star hotels in Scotland, plus three sites in London.
