Arch London appoints restaurant manager
The five-AA-star, 82-bedroom Arch London boutique hotel in Marylebone has appointed Tugend Demir as restaurant manager.
He will oversee the running of the Hunter 486 restaurant, as well as all other food and beverage operations at the hotel including in-room dining, afternoon tea and private functions.
After studying in Berlin, Demir travelled to Florida International University in Miami to study hospitality management, before transferring to London to complete a BA in international hospitality management.
He has previously worked in restaurants and hotels in the capital, including Quaglino's restaurant in Mayfair and Doubletree by Hilton London Victoria.
In October last year, Michael Voight left his role as general manager of the Arch London to oversee the launch of the 40-bedroom L'Oscar hotel, in Southampton Row, which is expected to open this September.
He was replaced by Eva Mount who joined from Firmdale Hotels' Dorset Square property, where she was general manager.
