Award-winning Devon hotel up for sale
Award-winning Devon hotel and restaurant the Horn of Plenty has been put up for sale for more than £2m.
Gorton told Caterer that after 17 years they had taken the business as far as they realistically could. "Who ever buys this will be taking on a very good business but I'm looking to do something new," he said.
Set in a 10-bedroom Georgian country house hotel overlooking Dartmoor the restaurant is a former Michelin-star holder and current AA 3-rosette winner.
The business has a turnover approaching £1m, employs 48 staff and has undergone a refurbishment in recent years.
The sale is being handled by property agent Colliers Robert Barry.
