Bespoke Hotels expands overseas
Bespoke Hotels](http://www.bespokehotels.com/) is taking its first foray into international hotel management with the announcement that it is taking over the marketing, sales and PR contracts with two boutique hotels in Barbados and Thailand.
The company, which currently operates management contracts on 33 individual hotels and inns in the UK, hopes its involvement with the 35-bedroom Treasure Beach hotel in Barbados, and 50-bedroom Roy's Rest in Koh Samui, will lead to further expansion overseas.
"This is quite a departure for us, but we are definitely open to further opportunities abroad should they come our way," said Robin Sheppard, managing director and founder with Haydn Fentum of Bespoke Hotels in 2000.
"Both these hotels rely heavily on British business, so it makes sense that we help to further drive business to them from the UK," he added.
Treasure Beach has recently reopened as an all-suite hotel, following a major refurbishment. The owner, Professor Kevin Morley, said he was thrilled to be working with Bespoke Hotels.
"I am certain that with the rare mix of professionalism, experience and flair they will provide, we will continue to grow Treasure Beach's reputation as a leading luxury hotel in Barbados," he said.
Bespoke's portfolio of hotels in the UK includes Wyck Hill House Hotel & Spa in the Cotswolds and Bermondsey Square Hotel in London.
