Best Western adds first Scottish property to BW Premier Collection
Ten Hill Place hotel in Edinburgh has been announced as the 10th hotel to join Best Western's BW Premier Collection of hotels.
Owned and operated by the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh Commercial Enterprises, the profits of the hotel go back to the college, which provides education and assessment for medical professionals and trainees. The hotel offers both historical and purpose-built modern rooms for meetings, conferences, private functions and weddings, along with its range of bedrooms and suites.
Launched in 2014, BW Premier Collection is Best Western's soft branded offering for high end hotels. The four-AA-star, 77-bedroom Ten Hill Place hotel is the collection's first property in Scotland.
Other members of the BW Premier Collection include Hazlewood Castle in North Yorkshire and the Richmond hotel in Liverpool.
Rob Payne, chief executive of Best Western GB, said: "We're delighted to welcome Ten Hill Place into the BW Premier Collection. We know our guests will love this city central location paired with the luxury this collection provides."
Scott Mitchell, commercial director of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh Commercial Enterprises, added: "Joining BW Premier Collection is an exciting prospect for us, and enables us to reach Best Western's sales and marketing platforms as well as a group of like-minded hoteliers."
Best Western GB represents over 260 independently owned hotels across the country.
