Bodmin pub owners buy neighbouring hotel

Dave and Dionne Morgan, who run the Masons Arms pub in Bodmin, Cornwall, have bought the neighbouring Casi Casa hotel.

The terraced town centre hotel, which dates back to the 1880s, lies on one of the main routes through Bodmin and targets the value-conscious market.

It provides seven bedrooms to sleep 16 guests (including three doubles, two twins and a family room) in a two-storey extension built 18 years ago.

Other facilities include a lounge bar with an exposed fireplace, a 20-seat dining room, double glazing throughout, and a car park.

The owners' apartment comprises a first-floor lounge, luxury bathroom and bedroom and a double bedroom on the top floor.

The Plymouth office of Colliers Robert Barry sold the freehold of an asking price of £390,000 on behalf of Trevor Wilkinson and Richard Cooney.
