Brian Henry appointed as executive chef at two London venues

Brian Henry has been appointed executive chef of 51 Buckingham Gate and Crowne Plaza London St James.

Henry, who has more than 20 years experience in the food and beverage industry, will oversee the kitchens of both properties.

He has previously worked at the Royal Garden hotel, the Park Lane hotel, the Grosvenor House hotel, the Plaza on Hyde Park and the London Hilton.

Ian Hurst, general manager of 51 Buckingham Gate, said: "I am delighted to welcome Brian Henry to the London team. I know that the food and beverage management staff and I look forward to continuing to deliver a high level of service and delicious cuisine, whilst increasing business levels and profitability."

Taj Hotels, Resorts and Palaces has owned and operated 51 Buckingham Gate since 1982.
