Bright Hospitality Group buys 10th hotel
Bright Hospitality Group (BHG) has acquired its tenth hotel, with the purchase of Staindrop Lodge in Sheffield for a seven-figure sum.
BHG completed the deal for the 37-bedroom hotel earlier this month off an asking price of £1.6m.
The hotel also boasts a brasserie and function facilities.
Property agent Fleurets brokered the deal.
BHG bought its first site in 2005 and has rapidly expanded its portfolio of hotels, which are mostly across the Midlands and north of England.
Other hotels in the group include: the Cheltenham Regency hotel in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire; the Clayton Lodge hotel in Newcastle under Lyme; the Comfort Inn Manchester North, in Rochdale; the Himley Court hotel in Dudley; Heath Brook Lodge in Kingswinford; the Paddington House hotel in Warrington, and Best Western Broadfield Park hotel in Rochdale.
