Brighton B&B operators buy Cromer hotel

Martin Torrens and Shaun Trumble, former B&B operators in Brighton, have bought the Virginia Court hotel in the coastal town of Cromer in North Norfolk.

The substantial Victorian property incorporates 25 en-suite bedrooms, a 50-seat dining room, a lounge and lounge-bar, and a conference room for up to 40 delegates.

Owners' accommodation comprises a three-bedroom apartment to the rear.

The Ipswich office of Christie + Co sold the freehold off an asking price of £1m on behalf of Neil and Wanprapa Stuart, who are retiring to Thailand.
