Brits want to share their hotel room with Keira Knightley and Ray Winstone

Keira Knightly and Ray Winstone are the sexy stars most Brits would love to share a hotel room with, according to a survey by Travelodge.

The budget hotel chain conducted research after being inundated with customer requests at its "Room with a View" trial hotel at London City Airport. Guests staying at the hotel are able to choose a free window transfer with views such as a Caribbean beach or the Manhattan skyline, to replace their rainy view of a car or business park.

The trial has caused such a buzz apparently, that guests have also been requesting images of their favourite celebrity as an alternative choice.

Pride and Prejudice beauty Keira Knightly, 22, topped the poll as the woman most men would like to see in their room, while tough guy Ray Winstone romped into the poll as the women's favourite hotel guest.

A spokeswoman for Travelodge said it's continuing its trial at London City Airport and is planning to roll it out to other regional airports such as Manchester and Inverness within the next few weeks.

Adding celebrity window transfers to the pilot is also being mooted.
