Choice Hotels awards best franchised hotels for 2015
Quality Hotel Boldon, near Sunderland, has been named European Quality Hotel of the Year at the 2015 Choice Hotels awards for best franchised hotels in UK and Europe.
The hotel was recognised for its customer service, operational standards and guest satisfaction scores.
Nicole Vanzie, general manager, Quality Hotel Boldon, said: "We are thrilled to have been recognised as the leading Quality hotel in Europe. The combination of our polished, contemporary rooms with our high TripAdvisor scores is a testament to our management and staff's dedication to service and to making guests feel like they are at home."
Comfort Inn Kings Cross St Pancras walked away with the UK Comfort Hotel of the Year award while Clarion Collection hotel St Albans took the title UK Clarion Hotel of the Year. The two winners were chosen for their guest satisfaction and cleanliness scores and for demonstrating consistent brand performance.
Amir Mousavi of Comfort Inn Arundel was awarded the European General Manager of the Year title.

The Choice Hotels Europe portfolio of franchised hotels includes the Clarion, Quality and Comfort brands.
