Christie + Co's Jeremy Hill dies

Jeremy Hill, the director and head of hotels at property agent Christie + Co, has died.

He had been suffering from pancreatic cancer and was aged 52.

Christie + Co chairman David Rugg said: "I have known and admired Jeremy as a colleague for over 30 years. He was an enthusiastic and motivational leader, a kind gentleman of the highest integrity and standards. Always great fun to be with, he was a wonderful example to us all.

"Jeremy made an immense contribution to Christie + Co, jointly opening our first continental office some 16 years ago. He has been a key member of our management board and built our Corporate Hotels team of which he was justifiably proud.

"We are deeply saddened by his early passing. Our prayers and sympathies are with his wife Sue and children, Sophie, Sam and Annie."
