Christine Hodder appointed new general manager of the Stafford London by Kempinski
The five-red-AA-star, 105-bedroom Stafford London by Kempinski has appointed Christine Hodder as general manager, after spending more than 30 years working all over the world.
Previously, she has also worked for Regent Hotels, Hyatt, Mandarin Oriental and Four Seasons, in locations as diverse as London, Miami, Singapore, China and New Zealand. She holds a degree in hospitality management, has studied at the Corrnell Hotel School and is a member of the Institute of Marketing UK.
Hodder said she is looking forward to returning to London and working with a European luxury company. "The Stafford has a long history and I have spent many happy times at this wonderful property," she said. "I hope to sustain the wonderful clientele that the Stafford has developed over decades, and to increase visibility while retaining ‘the ‘best kept secret' of the hotel's reputation."
The Stafford's former general manager, Leon Baum, has moved to the Ciragan Palace Kempinski in Istanbul as general manager.
