Classic Lodges takes on new Isle of Man hotel
A new-build 30-bedroom hotel, which is set to open in Ramsey, on the Isle of Man, next month, is to become an associate member of Classic Lodges.
Ramsey Park hotel is being developed at a cost of £2.5m by Isle of Man resident Trevor Hemmings.
As an associate member of Classic Lodges, it will receive leisure marketing support and access to the consortium's website.
The hotel will include the 50-seat Lake View restaurant, which general manager Steve Dawson expects will become a destination in its own right.
Richard Grimes, managing director of Classic Lodges, explained that, as a new property, Ramsey Park was different from the rest of its eight full and five associate members, which are generally historic. "However, the location and the quality of service it promises is entirely consistent with the Classic Lodges brand," he said. "I have no doubt that Ramsey Park will become its own modern-day classic."
