The Courtyard by Marriott Aberdeen Airport hotel has opened featuring a new European-inspired design for the brand.

The 194-room hotel is the first in a new design of Courtyard by Marriott hotels, featuring clean lines, natural light and a Mediterranean colour palette. Designed with business travellers in mind, rooms include work space, task lighting and free WiFi.

Amy McPherson, president and managing director for Marriott International in Europe, said: "We are excited to welcome the Courtyard Aberdeen Airport Hotel to our portfolio in the UK.

"We are confident that the new Courtyard European design will better meet the needs of our guests and help fuel expansion of the brand across Europe."

The hotel is located next to Aberdeen airport and six miles from the city centre.
