Chef Daniel Galmiche is set to launch the first of his new menus at Restaurant 190 at the Gore hotel in London at the end of this week.

Galmiche, who was head chef at the Vineyard near Newbury until January this year, will introduce his new menus in time for the start of the BBC Proms on 15 July.

Dishes will include: beef carpaccio, wasabi cream and leaves; hand dived Scottish scallops, cauliflower puree and crispy capers; Royal Windsor pork, morteau sausage, soft polenta and seasonal greens; slow-cooked short rib, hay-baked carrot, wild mushroom and creamed roast potato; and dark chocolate mousse, choux bun and espresso.

There will be a Proms menu from £28.95 per person including a glass of wine and coffee.
