David Burner of the Crowne Plaza London St James carries off lifetime concierge award
The Society of the Golden Keys - the professional organisation for concierges - has awarded its Lifetime Achievement Award for 2011 to David Burne, chief concierge of the Crowne Plaza London - St James.
Burner, seen here on the right with his general manager, Prabhat Verma, was presented with his award at the sixth Morris Golden Keys Concierge Awards, held at 8 Northumberland Avenue, London.
Other winners at annual awards, organised by the Society of the Golden Keys in conjunction with Morris Visitor Publications in Europe, included Richie Lond of the Cadogan hotel, who carried off Concierge of the Year London award, and Alan Grimes of Cameron House, Loch Lomond, Dunbartonshire, who won the Concierge of the Year out of town/regional award.
