David Hanlon becomes executive chef for Hilton Reading hotel

Hilton Reading hotel has appointed David Hanlon as executive chef, who will be resposible for the hotel's restaurant, the Larder.
He will also oversee all banqueting in the hotel's 500-capacity ballroom, plus the 24-hour room service and bar snacks.

He most recently worked with Thistle Hotels.

The hotel has also taken on general manager Meredith Bevan, who has prior experience openingHilton hotels.
