De Savary sells Devon hotel
Entrepreneur Peter de Savary has sold his second Devon property in as many months for a guide price of £750,000.
Havana West, which is owned by Lana and Peter de Savary, sold the 17th century Sandy Park Inn, near Chagford, to Bruce and Tania Lumsdaine.
The sale was made through property agent Knight Frank.
Lana de Savary, chairman of Havanna West, said: "We are delighted to find excellent new owners for the Sandy Park.
"This will allow us to concentrate on our next project: The Cary Arms in South Devon, opening in spring 2009, which we hope will become the first in a series of similar ventures."
In October de Savary the three-star White Hart hotel in the heart of the Dartmoor National Park off a guide price of £1.5m.
