Deadline set for One Devonshire Gardens bids
Property agent Christie + Co has set a deadline of 19 May for bids for Glasgow's only five-AA-red-star hotel, One Devonshire Gardens.
The hotel was put on the market last month and its sale is expected to earn owners Citrus Hotels more than £8m.
One Devonshire Gardens was founded in 1986 by hotelier Ken McCullock and has 35 bedrooms.
Citrus has spent £2m refurbishing the hotel over the past few years and has expanded the property to occupy a series of four Victorian townhouses.
In recent months, Citrus purchased the remaining house in the terrace for a reputed £500,000, which it had planned to covert into a 50-bedroom extension with a luxury health spa.
