Launched last month following a £25m renovation of a 19th century Regency warehouse, the club is located on Devonshire Square, close to Liverpool Street Station.

Head of food and beverage is Simon Whitley, who was previously executive chef at Coworth Park, Ascot, chef at Home House and opening chef at the Arts Club. Oliver Lesnik, most recently at L'Escargot, is the executive head chef, while William Best, former premier sous-chef at the Ritz, is head chef.

Tiziano Tasso, one time head bartender at the Ivy, has been appointed bars manager of the club, which is located on Devonshire Square, close to Liverpool Street Station. He is working closely with the general manager of the Brassiere, Rodney Chidgey, whose experience includes stints at Four Season Hotels & Resorts, Caprice Holdings and Corbin & King.

Aret Kapetanovic, the membership director of the club who has held similar roles at the Hotel Café Royal and Bittersweet Cocktail Bar and Member's Club, is supported by Edward Haskell, who has previously worked with the Birley Group, Soho House & Co and the Brompton Club.

Head concierge James Malone has joined the club from Hotel Café Royal, and hospitality manager Edward Young previously worked in the front office team at the Madinat Jumeirah Resort in Dubai.

Ian Palmer joined the club as general manager in November 2015 from the members club at the Hotel Café Royal. He previously worked at the Arts Club and Home House in London.

Brian Clivaz, managing director and shareholder of the Devonshire Club, said: "When launching such a glamorous and sought-after member's club, it's only right that our team reflect this. We're confident that we have sourced the best of the best, from top chefs to the finest in customer care, to ensure our guests have an experience to remember."

A majority stake in the club, which has backing from the RBS Group, is owned by businessman and former Conservative party deputy chairman, Lord Ashcroft

Founder membership to the club is open for £2,400 per year, with 10-year debenture membership priced at £24,000.
