Donal Rooney replaces Cormac Ó Tighearnaigh as Amaris Hospitality CFO

Amaris Hospitality has appointed Donal Rooney as its new chief financial officer.

John Brennan, chief executive of Amaris Hospitality, said: "I am delighted to welcome Donal to the Amaris Hospitality leadership team where his extensive financial experience and strong commercial acumen will help us deliver our ambitious and exciting plans for the business.

"Separately, I want to take this opportunity to express our sincere thanks and appreciation to Cormac Á" Tighearnaigh for his outstanding contribution over his 10 years with the business and we wish him every success with his future plans."

Amaris Hospitality was established in July 2015 and operates three business divisions, which consist of 73 hotels trading under eight hotel brands: Jurys Inn, Mercure, MGallery, Ibis Styles, Hilton, DoubleTree by Hilton, Hilton Garden Inn and Crowne Plaza.

The group, which has over 13,500 rooms and employs more than 6,000 people, has combined sales of more than £400 million.
