Edwardian Hotels London and Radisson Hotel Group have announced plans to extend their strategic partnership for another 10 years.
The news was announced at Edwardian's 404-bedroom May Fair hotel in London at an event celebrating the property becoming the first in England to join the Radisson Collection.
The property joins the Royal Mile hotel in Edinburgh and 13 other Radisson Collection hotels in operation. The premium lifestyle soft brand was launched last year, replacing the Quorvus Collection, when the Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group was rebranded as the Radisson Hotel Group.
Edwardian Hotels London owns and operates the May Fair as well as 11 Radisson Blu Edwardian properties. Edwardian Hotels London's master franchise will now extend to 2063.
Federico J González-Tejera, president and chief executive of Radisson Hospitality AB and chairman of the Radisson Hotel Group global steering committee, said: "We are immensely proud to welcome an iconic hotel like the May Fair hotel into the Radisson Collection family and we are thrilled to have an in-principle agreement on a further extension of our strategic partnership with Edwardian Hotels London for an additional 10 years."
Jasminder Singh, chairman and chief executive of Edwardian Hotels London, added: "I am delighted that the May Fair hotel has been recognised as London's first hotel in the Radisson Collection and we look forward to the next phase of our long-standing strategic partnership with Radisson Hotel Group."
