Eibhear Coyle is new executive chef at the Lancaster London hotel

Eibhear Coyle has been appointed as the new executive chef at the 416-bedroom Lancaster London hotel.

In his new role, Coyle will head a refurbishment of the hotel's banqueting kitchens.

As well as looking after banqueting for up to 3,000 guests a day, he will also oversee the hotel's two restaurants, the two-AA-rosette Nipa and Island.

Prior to the Lancaster London, Coyle spent six years as executive chef at Kerzner International Atlantis Paradise Island Resort in the Bahamas, where he was responsible for the food service to 50 outlets, 3,600 bedrooms and two large conference spaces.

Coyle replaces Nigel Boschetti who has moved to Grosvenor House, a JW Marriott Hotel, as executive chef.
