Eva Mount appointed general manager of the Guardsman
The Guardsman, Shiva Hotels' new luxury boutique hotel near St James's Park in London, has announced that Eva Mount will be joining the team as opening general manager.
Mount joins the hotel after short stints as general manager at the Harbour Hotel Richmond in London and the Athenaeum in Mayfair, and around two years as general manager of the Arch London in Marylebone.
Set to launch in early 2020, the 53-bedroom, purpose-built Guardsman hotel is described as a "new direction" for Shiva.
Rishi Sachdev, managing director of Shiva Hotels, owner and operator of the hotel, said: "We are absolutely delighted that Eva is joining our team. She has worked with some of London's leading five-star boutique hotels and as such her experience will be invaluable. The fact she is joining us at this relatively early stage will ensure the Guardsman is operating effortlessly from the minute it opens its doors to the public."
Shiva Hotels, established in 2001, operates five Hilton hotels in London and York, including the Lincoln Plaza London.
