Finance, revenue management and IT professionals honoured at HOSPA awards

Employees from Puma Hotels Collection, The Balmoral and Apex Hotels were among the winners at the Hospitality Finance, Revenue Management and IT Awards of the Year 2013.

They were honoured with their accolades at an annual Christmas award lunch of HOSPA - the professional organisation for hospitality professionals working in financial management, revenue management and IT - held at London's Landmark hotel.

The winners, who all received engraved crystal trophies and certificates, were:

Hospitality Finance Professional 2013, sponsored by BDO: Carole Taylor, group financial controller, Puma Hotels Collection.

Hospitality Revenue Management Professional 2013, sponsored by Infor EasyRMS: Justine Sanderson, director of revenue management, Rocco Forte Balmoral Hotel, Edinburgh.

Hospitality IT Professional 2013, sponsored by Fourteen IP: Andrew Jacques, IT director, Apex Hotels.

HOSPA Financial Management Employer of the Year 2013: Jurys Inns.

HOSPA Revenue Management Employer of the Year 2013: De Vere Venues.

HOSPA Outstanding Student of the Year in Financial Management 2013: Chinthaka Periyapperuma, assistant finance manager, Jumeirah Madinat, Dubai. He also won a Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 tablet computer.

HOSPA Outstanding Student of the Year in Revenue Management 2013: James Field, regional revenue executive - London, Whitbread. He also won a Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 tablet computer.
