First-time buyers for Welsh resort hotel

The Broadway hotel in the North Wales resort of Llandudno has changed hands after 37 years under the same ownership.

It occupies a corner plot fronting Mostyn Broadway in the coastal town, near the town centre and within walking distance of the famous crescent-shaped seafront promenade.

The Broadway hotel offers 30 bedrooms (27 en-suite), a residents' lounge, a 64-seat dining room, and a non-smoking lounge.

The owners' accommodation on the first floor includes a double en-suite bedroom and lounge.

Although this is a first hotel purchase for Marc and Cheryl Viercant from Kent, both have worked for corporate hotel operators in the past.

The Manchester office of Christie + Co sold the leasehold off a guide price of £450,000 on behalf of Swiss hoteliers Mr and Mrs Tura.
