Five-star Mar Hall hotel appoints Neil Ellis as general manager

Neil Ellis has been appointed general manager of the five-star Mar Hall Hotel, near Bishopton, on the outskirts of Glasgow.
A graduate of the general managers' programme at Cornell University in the USA, Ellis has more than 20 years' experience in the hospitality industry in Scotland, most recently as general manager of the City Inn in Glasgow.
Prior to working at the City Inn, Ellis spent four years as general manager of the Mercure Point Hotel & Conference Centre in Edinburgh.
