Former accountant buys Worcestershire B&B near the Lygon Arms

Former accountant Evan Anderson and his wife are the new owners of Windrush House hotel in Broadway, Worcestershire, which is just around the corner from the renowned Lygon Arms.

The five-bedroom detached property with a garden has achieved Four Diamond, Silver Award status. Anderson intends to refurbish the property and take it further up-market in time for next year's Cheltenham Festival.

The Cirencester office of Colliers Robert Barry sold the freehold property for close to the asking price of £550,000.
