Former care home owner buys Kent seaside hotel

The Sandgate hotel in the Kent seaside village of the same name has been sold to Kiki Cole, the former owner of a care home.

The five-storey, terraced building is located on The Esplanade, where it commands sea views.

Along with 15 en-suite bedrooms, the hotel offers a 47-seat open-plan bar and restaurant and a smaller bar with its own, private entrance.

The Maidstone office of Christie + Co sold the freehold off an asking price of £900,000 on behalf of Richard and Helen Monaghan.
