Former Four Seasons president joins Rocco Forte Hotels
Former Four Seasons president Antoine Corinthios has been appointed executive advisor of development and operations for Rocco Forte Hotels.
Corinthios will be responsible for developing a hotel pipeline and maintaining service standards across the group.
He will also work closely with Sir Rocco Forte and managing director Karim Naffah on the strategic development of the business.
The appointment follows Sir Rocco's stated aim of doubling the size of the company in five years.
The group's existing 10 hotels are largely based in Europe, and they will continue to look to build in the continent along with looking for properties in the US, Middle East and Asia. The first new property will open in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, later this year.
Corinthios said: "I have followed the Rocco Forte Hotels brand development for many years. I greatly admire the entrepreneurial spirit, the commitment to service and the individuality of the properties that are the hallmark of the Rocco Forte Hotels brand."
Starting his career with Hyatt International in 1977, Corinthios moved to Canada to work with a then fledgling Four Seasons. After working his way up he became President of Four Season's EMEA region in 1997 and stayed in the role until the end of 2012.
