Former hotel general manager joins Royal Air Force Club

He started his new role on 1 June, replacing Peter Owen who is retiring after 24 years at the club.

Pooley said: "I am delighted to be returning to clubland and managing this prestigious club that is steeped in history and orientated around the Royal Air Force."

His career in the hospitality industry spans more than 30 years, and he has worked predominately in Mayfair at the Connaught, 47 Park Street and the Oriental Club.
