Former Soho House development director Ben Page launches project delivery service Southbank Projects
Ben Page, former development director at Soho House, has founded Southbank Projects, a project delivery service for operators in the restaurant, pub, club and hotel sectors.
The new business will offer hospitality operators a range of services: brand development, site identification and acquisition, and design and development - including all interaction with statutory authorities, landlords, licensing and lawyers.
"During my time at Soho House we delivered Shoreditch House, Soho House Berlin, Dean Street Townhouse, Pizza East and more recently the Chicken Shop in Kentish Town," Page said.
"Every site had its challenges, from co-ordinating the delivery of 40 hotel bedrooms, a members' club and rooftop swimming pool in Germany, to negotiating and securing a late licence in Shoreditch."
Page said his new business built on this experience, enabling Southbank Projects to offer clients the expertise they need for new site openings or refurbishments.
He added: "There are some phenomenal operators out there who want to focus on what they do best - that's where Southbank Projects comes in.
"We can deliver the project the client wants, to the highest standard, without them having to worry about not having in-house expertise in property or development."
