Four-star Dunoon guesthouse changes hands

James and Mandy Donnelly are the new owners of the four-star Dhailling Lodge guesthouse in Dunoon, Argyll.

The semi-detached Victorian property in Alexandra Parade overlooks the Clyde Estuary and is mid-way between the two ferry terminals serving the peninsula.

It offers seven en-suite bedrooms to sleep 11, a residents' lounge with bay window and marble fireplace, a dining room, and a two-bedroom private suite.

Outside is a patio area and parking spaces to the front of the property, which dates back to 1880.

The Glasgow office of Colliers Robert Barry sold the freehold off an asking price in excess of £400,000.
