Fourth new GM for Puma Hotels Collection in one week

The fourth new general manager at Puma Hotels Collection has been announced within the space of a week.

Samantha Dunion has taken on the running of the 155-bedroom Daventry Court hotel in Northamptonshire, joining the property having recently worked in managerial roles with Holiday Inn in Brighton and Corby-Kettering.

Dunion's arrival at the hotel follows swiftly on the heels of the appointment of new general managers at the company's Shrigley Hall Hotel, Golf & Country Club, Cheshire; Imperial hotel, Blackpool; and Marine hotel, Troon.

The new appointments follow the arrival of Fredrik Korallus as the new chief executive of Puma, in October 2012. He said that his initial focus for the company, which has debts of more than £330m, was to reposition the group's 21 hotels to accentuate their individuality and local appeal, as well as draw in more leisure guests.
