Gordon Campbell Gray to launch eco-hotel
Gordon Campbell Gray hotels is to launch a new eco-hotel in the south of France in the summer of 2011, Caterer can reveal.
The Lodge St Germain will be located outside Montpellier in the South East of France and will feature 45 rooms, 45 apartments and 20 lodges.
The eco-focused hotel aims to have top green credentials as well as featuring a restaurant, big spa and retreat content.
Gordon Campbell Gray said: "There will be a strong spa and retreat component- We're pitching it as an alternative to those boot camps in Austria. You can relax, look out and see nothing for miles around. It will be rustic and pure."
"But it will also be extremely environmentally considerate and have a wonderful restaurant."
The news comes as Campbell Gray hotels opens its first property in Lebanon. An in depth interview with Gordon Campbell Gray about Le Gray in Beirut is featured in this week's Caterer and Hotelkeeper to launch this year's sustainability month.
